How to add a family member

To add family members and link them to your account, log into GMS, select 'add' on your 'Dashboard' within the 'Family and Friends' widget.

This will bring up the pop-out screen to fill in the details of the new member, such as 'Name' and 'date of birth'.

Once you’ve added in the basic information, you will be then able to add more information such as the 'relationship' you have with the person you are adding. This is where you will also add any medical information and secondary/ emergency contact information if you are adding a child.

Once all details have been added, click save at the top of the screen and this will create a new account for the individual you are adding.

If they have an existing account, it will come up with the message ‘Matching details already exist...’ and please select the record to use and link to your account.

Emergency contacts

Emergency contacts will need to be added/ updates for the family member on their profile once the link has been created. This can be done in one of two ways:

1. When affiliating  the family member to a new club or renewing an affiliation, you will be prompted to fill out the emergency contact details at the bottom of the page (see Age grade affiliation & Renew Age grade Child Affiliation)

2. When you log on to your profile go to the family member you are wishing to update, 'Details' (right hand side pop out) > Scroll to bottom to 'Emergency contacts'  (You can add two lots of emergency contact info) > Click the '+' to add the details for the Emergency contact
